Be Strategic About Use of Social Media
For the most part, each of these tools are free to use. In reality, though, the real cost of each using these tools (i.e. your time) is high.
So get a strategy before you start employing tactics. What is the message you are trying to communicate? How are you trying to position yourself? What audience are you trying to attract?
Answering these questions before you become an active blogger, tweeter or social networker will help you spend your precious time more effectively.
